Global Impact Starts Here: GPN 2026 Internship & Fellowship Program

GPN International | Global Policy News

we are continuously looking for fresh talent to help bridge the gap between academic research and real-world policy implementation. Given our focus on international affairs, human rights monitoring, and the "Resilience Economy," our opportunities are designed for those who want to contribute to high-impact discourse.

Below are the current tracks for joining our team:

1. Research Fellowships (Policy & Media)

These are intended for postgraduate students or early-career professionals focused on our core thematic areas:

Human Rights & Freedom of Expression: Working directly with our "Article 19" section to monitor global censorship and advocacy.

Extremism Watch: Analyzing trends in global radicalization and policy responses.

The Resilience Economy: Researching urban adaptation and "Sponge City" initiatives.

Deliverables: Fellows are expected to produce at least two "high-impact" white papers or deep-dive investigative articles during their 6-month tenure.

2. Digital Media & Journalism Internships

Designed for undergraduate students in Journalism, Media Studies, or International Relations:

Editorial Support: Fact-checking, drafting "short-form" policy briefs, and managing our global news feed.

Visual Storytelling: Assisting in the creation of "international level" infographics and professional branding assets for our reports.

Social Impact Tracking: Helping measure the reach and influence of our advocacy campaigns.

3. Technical & Web Development Internships

Managed in collaboration with our technical leads, these roles focus on the infrastructure of policy dissemination:

UX/UI for Policy: Enhancing the navigation structures of our platform to make complex data more accessible to the public.

Data Visualization: Building interactive maps and charts for our research reports.

Application Guidance (The V.A.L.I.D. Approach)

When applying to GPN, we recommend tailoring your proposal using the framework we promote for research:

Volume: Show us your previous writing or project samples.

Access: Highlight your unique language skills or regional expertise (e.g., Peshawar-specific real estate markets or South Asian policy).

Interest: Explain why you are passionate about implementation over just theoretical research.

How to Apply: Please send your CV and a 300-word "Policy Pitch" (an idea for a report you'd like to lead) to our editorial team. If you have a specific developer portfolio, please include links to your previous web projects.
